Embossed picture frame workshop - 14th of August, Cork city

Join us on the 14th of August for a new and exciting workshop where we practice the ancient tradition of embossing and create our very own embossed picture frames.

What is embossing? 

Embossing is an ancient technique believed to be created by the Egyptians. It is a craft whereby tools are used to create texture, dents and grooves into metal to create a pattern or motif.

You will be provided with all the materials and the designs to draw inspiration from. You will be fully guided from start to finish and will leave with a new skill learned and a new picture frame for your home, designed and handmade by you.

A complimentary drink is also included in your ticket.

Added note: we suggest bringing you chosen photograph so you can create your picture frame around it.
