Paint & Sip - Lughnasa

Introducing paint and sip - with a pagan twist!

Unwind and tune into your creative side at our paint and sip class. The theme this week will be Lughnasa. You will be shown examples of paintings you can draw inspiration from on the day.

In celebration of the gaelic harvest festival celebrated on the 1st of August, we will be painting all things inspired by this pagan event.

Held in Meades bar, Cork city center. 6:30 - 8:30 pm

The word comes from the name of the Celtic sun and craft god, Lugh so we will be drawing inspiration from this festival to celebrate the summer harvest. There will be plenty of inspiration and paintings already preprepared on the night so not to worry if you don't know where to start - we will guide you!

Whether you're Van Gogh reincarnated or a complete novice, this class is suitable for all levels, ages & genders. Tara will lead the class by showing you colour blocking, shading techniques & other tips and tricks.

All materials & tools will be provided including an A4 canvas, paint brushes, paints, easels & the teacher's experience and knowledge.

As always - a complimentary drink of choice is included in your ticket.
